Join Our Branch

Founded in 1909 by a multiracial group of citizens committed to social justice, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has led the fight for civil rights for over a century. Here in Ann Arbor, we proudly carry that legacy forward. The NAACP Ann Arbor Branch stands as a beacon for equality and justice, fueled by the passion and commitment of our members, friends, and supporters.

Membership is the lifeblood of the NAACP Ann Arbor Branch. Throughout our history, countless individuals have joined our ranks to stand against discrimination and work toward a more just society. These Freedom Fighters have powered our successes and strengthened our voice.
Today, you are the foundation upon which the NAACP Ann Arbor Branch’s future will be built. Together, we will continue to push for civil rights, economic opportunity, educational equity, and social justice — for every generation to come.
